An Angel's Touch

My Mother has been in and out of the hospital and has had two surgeries to help rid of stomach cancer. We won't know if the cancer has spread until she heals from both surgeries. She has undergone many hospital tests and hopefully the stomach cancer is gone. Anyway she has received so many prayers from people that have made a difference. She is now getting better slowly and I know she is healing.
I want to thank those people for their prayers and concern. Prayer is a powerful thing and it's a gift of love and care.

Anyway the prompt for this contest is:

"Prayers bring the healing powers of an Angel's touch."

I believe that Angels administer to the sick when they are called upon through prayer. Thank you all for the prayers you say for others also. It truly makes a difference.

The normal AP rules apply here.

Thank you very much.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 12
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 300, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 3 people
  • Final notes:
I am ending this contest one day early. The sad part is that the Angels took my Mother to heaven last Monday. After all the surgery a blood clot went to her heart. It has been hard for me and my family. We know that it was her time to go. Prayers have helped comfort us during this difficult time. Thank you for all the prayers for me and for others.
Every entry in this contest was wonderful and mostly touching. Thank you very much for the great entries.

My condolences. I won't say I know how you feel, as no one can. I lost my own mother in 1999. I miss her still. Prayers go out to you and yours, Poet. May she rest in peace.
