Prompt: Write about an observation. You may write about more than one, but please keep a universal idea with focus.
Requirements:
-Free verse only. This means no rhyme, form or prose.
-Left alignment only.
-Solid background. No blinding colors please.
-At least write 25 words.
-There is no maximum amount of words, but please be rational here. Make sure all details have a place and that it is interesting from start to finish.
-Poetic devices are one of the keys to success. Remember to maintain balance though.

Tegan and I will be judging. (Stasis and Sideways Hourglass)
We will use a ranking system to determine the winners. (Each of us ranks the entries 1-10, for example. For instance, if Tegan ranks Red Poem "2" (for second place) then it gets two points. If I ranked that same poem "4" (for fourth place) then it scores four points...thus giving it a total of six points. The entry with the least amount of points wins. If there are tie-breakers, then a third judge will be brought in to break the tie(s). This judge will be determined later... if needed.) - We apologize if that was confusing, but felt it was necessary to explain incase anyone was wondering.
