I haven't done a contest in quite a while, and personally, my favorite type of contests are always music related. I find it especially fun when you have to use your ipod shuffle [windows media player, itunes, etc.] to create your poem.
So basically that's my challenge for you today.
Rules:
1. Put your iPod [or music player] on shuffle.
2. Write down the first line of that song, no matter how ridiculous, as the next line in your poem.
3. You cannot change the words of the sentence, but you are free to space them out as you please.
4. Write down the songs and artists, spaced out, in numerical order in your author's notes.
5. Put your username in your author's notes also.
6. No sticky caps
7. No chat speak.
8. Use as many songs as you see fit, but don't make it into a novel.
If these rules are not adhered to, I'm afraid that disqualification will be the consequence.
I have the right to close this contest due to lack of entries at my discretion.
