sadly
this is not a new poem but fits this coontest so perfectly, I had to share it:
Invasion of Dandelion
Blatently you disregard
efforts on your exclusion
And pop up like stars
across our yards
in irrespective profusion
Your final act -
a child-like gift
of whimsical illusion
Your courageous grace ignored,
you're labeled an intrusion.
Author notes
I have always loved how dandelions are too stubborn to give up. Funny how people love to hate them. Nobody seems to notice their beauty. Somehow - I hope I can have their courage. . . .
