Fall and all its pleasures and pains

I would like any type of poetry except really apparent Neruda knock-off crap. Let me explain. I love Pablo Neruda and I love those poets who bring brilliance to that style of poetry. There are only a few in my opinion who do it well. I believe every poet has his or her own voice and I want to hear your voice and your spirit in praise of all that is good and not so good about Fall.

Rhyme, rap, heck write a sonnet or any other difficult type of form poetry but inspire me to become more active again. Check your spelling and grammar please unless you intentionally use bad grammar to get a message across.

Hit me with your best and if you are going to have an adult theme, please mark it as such so we do not expose those younger to anything they should not be reading.

Anyway, have fun with my favorite season and make my spirit sing and dance among the power of your words.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 14
  • Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 400, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 7 people
  • Final notes:
This was a contest that I enjoyed and I really enjoyed the entries as well. Right now it is raining and miserable and it is the 5th week I will be subjected to rain while doing laundry ... These poems made me think that even in these rainy washing days there is poetry. Thank you for enriching my spirit and for giving me precious pearls to ponder on.
