Deirdre 'Sorrow'
A predatory confidence, perhaps.
Doe eyes and defiant jawlines could never harm me. The sleeping Macha awakens, wanting nothing but the colors of raven wings with crimson blood stained beaks on ulster snowbanks. I could settle for nothing. Even if these wings were frosted orange/yellow fires and warriors crafted rings of steel pierced through the skin of lower lips. Have we evolved past lust? It runs through bloodlines deep as trenches, and though I could never love you, a conquest nonetheless, stirs the familiar ache in my ancestral spirit.
Lanky jutted ivory shoulders, a sort of leonine pride. Spirit's more attractive than form, for it can color irises. Maybe we have both been broken, resurging like rebels from those ashes. You with your jagged jaw and set steele eyes. I will always admire that. My confidence more maleable, subtley eroding mountains into marble while you raise a bloody sword openly to horizons.
I could never deny the attraction, a welsh warrior sire, mabinogion heralded, I must admire that. We do not choose our names, they choose us. Perhaps we can both forget momentarily former blazes, I can seperate from the searing skin now tantamount to ash.
Coffee tonight? I should think so. -
Thank you nso much for the honour of gold
Congratualtions to the other winners and thank you for hosting
