~~~So, what is Soul....?~~~
Your challenge in this contest is to describe the concept of Soul.
I want extremely thoughtful entries only.
You NEED to make me FEEL you.
I don't care how you choose to write, use any style of poetry you want as long as you don't write me storybooks or essays. Please be neat as well.
Space your name out like this in the Author Notes: S w e e t W a t e r
Lastly, know that I have the right to disqualify if an entry doesn't meet my simple guidelines.
Thank you for entering and best of luck to all of you!
Again, your prompt is: Soul.
Write away.
[Please message me if you have any questions or concerns.]
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on November 14
- Rewards: Gold: 700, Silver: 500, Bronze: 300, Honorable mention: 2 people
- Final notes: It was not until the last few moments that I realized how hard it was to judge a contest.
There were so many beautiful and heartfelt writes here that it almost seems unfair to make this a challenge.
Nevertheless, there were some writes that touched me in ways that others did not and I am so happy that everybody who entered could shed some light into my mind, and hopefully their minds.
If anyone is interested in my personal thoughts about the concept of soul, feel free to read my poem about soul: http://allpoetry.com/poem/5882161
Thank you all for entering, and for those who didn't win, your poetry is still beautiful and embodies your soul in a powerful way.
Keep writing like this and you will dominate your own worlds and eventually find true peace and happiness within yourselves.
~Ariel~
Thank you ever so much for relating with your soul to my poem. I am honored to have won your challenge, and delighted to have become one of your "favorites". Your comments encourage and inspire me as a writer. I thought for a while before writing the poem. I remain unsure of what exactly my soul transcends but that does not halt my exodus to higher ground. I am a firm believer in seeking the "mark of the high calling". It is there, always beckoning me. It seems that it calls out to you as well.
Thank you again. I am humbled and feel blessed to have won the GOLD Chalice.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS HERE AND KUDOS TO YOU FOR SUCH A HEARTFELT CHALLENGE.
Much Love & Respect ♥
Thank-you very much for finding depth in my write...
The honor of silver brings smiles. Spiritual writing is
something that seems to spill forth from me, but I'm
usually unsure if anyone else will comprehend. I am
glad you were moved a bit by my journey. Congrats
to all who had their works recognized here. Blue
