The 1500's

Hi there,

My name is Lana, im 12 years old. I've been saving up some points to have a great and fun competition. At my school in History we have been learning about the 1500's. I want to learn more about that period of time so i can almost know exactly how it was to be alive at those times. Write about the 1500's in Britain

There will be only 25 places in this competiton. With 800 points to win and a gold trophey. So try and make your poem really count. I will comment on all and tell you my complete opinion.

I'm not a adult so please let it be readable and no:
Swearing/sex
make the backround and font colour readable
follow basic rules!

Try and tell me and teach me something aswell. Thank-you!

But where are you? Your notes say you live in the UK... which for the 1500s raises a problem. For England and Scotland were different countries then, and the history you learn will depend on which country you are going to school in.

And why limit the competition to new work (which could be written in haste and hence contain accidental errors) and to so few entries? You would get a much broader view if you made the field wider.

I agree with Vera about prewrites. I have found that same thing to be true when I hold contests.

Thank you for the silver trophy.
