All Hallow's Eve

This is a Halloween poetry contest. I want to know what Halloween means for you on a personal level. Not too gory, this is more about how Halloween makes you FEEL. You can include things about Nature, Autumn, or the day (or night) itself.

No more than 10-12 lines.

Rhyming is OK, but I'd like to see some variety .

Emotion words are a huge plus on this one.

Be creative, and above all, have fun with it!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on November 6
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 2 people
  • Final notes:
Thank you all for your wonderful entries. I am sorry to have had to remove some from the finalist list, due to neglection of the line number limit rule. Keep in mind, that doesn't mean the poems weren't good, I liked them all, but I hoped more people would have adhered too the rules. Everyone did a great job!
