- Final notes: Sorry it took so long to judge. The brilliance of hosting an Invite Only / Favorites contest is also a fault-- all the entries are some of the most spectacular things I have ever read on this site.
I had about 13 prelim finalists originally. If you won an HM, please consider it the best-deserved HM you earned, because I promise it is better than pity points; I wish there was something between bronze and HMs >.<
I would STRONGLY suggest reading the winning entries. All entries received applause that they deserved, but the finalists captured everything I was looking for, each in their own way.
Additionally, I would love to use some quotes from your various works for prompts for contests (don't worry, I'll credit you!). I ask that you do not remove your entry from my contest (at least until the weekend, so I can add certain ones to my bookmark list), that would be terrific. If I choose to use a quote from your poem in a contest, I will message you first for an "okay". If you don't want me to use your piece as a prompt, feel free to send me a message.
Just a side note, this contest was NOT anonymous. I had to edit the contest to adjust the points and trophies, which made it "anonymous" for the last 10 minutes before being judged >.>
