- I like love stories and sad stories the best- do with that as you may
- any kind of story is welcome
- If you really have nothing about your life you think is interesting you can make things up but nothing too dramatic like "Every one wanted me, some one gave me a million dollars", I have seen that before and not really interesting to me cuz its most likely a huge lie. Small fibs are fine though.
- Doesn't have to rhyme, I prefer it because its going to be easier that way but if your good at rhyming go right ahead

Kind of a shame there's no prewrites. I do have a poem thats metaphorically about my life from ages 13-16 if you want to read it outside of the contest though. It is a bit graphic I guess in a way though, so if not, thats alright. I'll try to come up with something different for your context though
