I am new to AP and I don't know if a contest like this has been done before, but if it hasn't, I am glad to be first. Okay, here is the plan. We are going to pretend we are on a debate team and use our poems as our debates. I want each of you to take one of my poems and write a rebuttal to it. For example, if I write about love being great, tell me how much love sucks, or if I write about how much love sucks, tell me how great it is. If you feel the need to write erotica please label accordingly, because I am not giving an age restriction. Yes, I understand this contest benefits me too, but shouldn't things be beneficial for all parties. If I get more points I WILL most definitely add more points. I am currently out with this little bit of points, and was too impatient to wait for some contests to come through. If you would like to donate or loan some out for contest, definitely let me know and I can return the favor. I can't wait to see everyone's poems, so get to writing. Please put the title of the poem you use into your A N and it will not affect judging, since I don't know anyone , but if you put your name in AN would be helpful, as I am looking for favorites. I will extend the contest or restart it if not enough entries. Hoping for at least 20, I will send you a note if that happens.

I really like this idea for a contest. I have bookmarked it just so I can read the entries. I have one suggestion...it would be nice if the entries had the link to the poem they are rebutting in the authors notes. I realize that they have put the name of your poem in there, but it would just be more convenient for those of us who are reading to have the link.
