This contest is open to the following 5 poets. If your name is not on this list, your work will be disqualified.

Idle Mind Wondering
Little Eagle
Nicklespring
Pamela A Lamppa
Peteskid

Welcome to the Final Round. We wll conclude with two poems written together. One must be free verse and the other must be an Ottava Rima. Each of you is an accomplished poet and will know to look on ShadowPoetry if you are not familiar with this particular form.

Both poems are about the same subject, but they MUST have different viewpoints. They don't have to be opposing, but you should introduce new ideas into the second poem. Please post both poems as a single entry.

And now the subject ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~MIRACLES ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

You may be as broad or as specific as you like. There are no restrictions on your opinions. Anything is valid as long as there is some justification or explanation.

As usual, metaphor and imagery are strongly encouraged.

There are a few simple rules:

1) You must provide a link in the author’s notes to your homepage. I enjoy guessing who has written each poem, and I probably will be able to tell without reading your names, but this will make it easier to check eligibility./

2) Spelling, grammar, and punctuation (if used) are very important so please proofread your poem.

3) Incomprehensibility is not a virtue and does not equal depth of thought.

4) Choose a plain color background. It is acceptable to use a border if the typing is against a single color backing.

Good luck and have fun.

I want to thank each of you again for taking the time to participate in this rounds contest. It has been a pleasure to read every one of your entries, and this round was especially profound.

I am sorry that Pamela and Ken were not able to add something here, but real life often intrudes on our writing time. I am so fortunate that all of you are my favorites so that I can enjoy all the wonderful things that you write. Peace and hugs to all, Liz
