No rhyme. If you accidentally end up with some rhymes that's okay - but believe me, I can tell the difference.
25 lines or less please, though between an amazing 40-line poem and a mediocre or bad (according to my taste) poem, I *will* pick the longer but better one.
Creativity, creativity, creativity!
Emotion, please.
Show & don't tell.
Please, for the love of my slowly dying sanity, do not capitalize the beginning of every single line and/or use commas after every single line even if it's not warranted, and my future therapist might give you a cookie (but no guarantees
