The below prompts are taken from random songs off my current playlist. My taste in music is very broad and encompasses many different genres.
Take one of the following and run with it.
Prompts:
1. "There's something about horses, especially a paint,
Whenever I see horses it reminds me of what I ain't." - Corb Lund - Especially A Paint
2. "I like to see you, but then again
That doesn't mean you mean that much to me" - 10 CC - I'm Not In Love
3. "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
And this house just ain't no home anytime she goes away." - Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine
4. "The revolution starts now
When you rise above your fear
And tear the walls around you down
The revolution starts here" - Steve Earle -The Revolution Starts Now
5. "If there's one thing I have said,
is that the dreams I once had
now lay in bed,
as the four winds blow,
my wits through the door,
it's been the worst day since yesterday" - Flogging Molly - The Worst Day Since Yesterday
6. "Jacob's a fine boy
but his parents don't get along
they hardly talk, when they do
he thinks he's done something wrong" - Jackopierce - Jacob
7. "I heard him shout who is he, she mumbled low
He said baby don't you lie to me no more
And I'm listening thru these thin walls silently
As he called out my name I was right next door" - Robert Cray - Right Next Door
8. "You've got that touch so gentle and sweet
But you've got that look so critical" - Nazareth - This Flight Tonight
9. "In the morning light she wore my coat, and all I wanted to know
Was she trembling from the feeling or the cold" - Chris Knight - Summer of '75
10. "It's been a long long time
Since I've seen all of my family and friends
I want to hear them tell their stories
Tell 'em all about the places I have been" - Robert Earl Keen - The Coming Home of the Son and Brother
11. "It's all been done before, I might have something but I'm not really sure,
I should have started twenty years ago, but what do you look for, when it's all been done before" - Zappacosta - It's All Been Done Before
12. "I can still feel the breeze that rustles through the trees
And misty memories of days gone by
We could never see tomorrow, no one said a word about the sorrow" - Al Green - How Can You Mend A Broken Heart
13. "Fires burned in silence
Hearts in anger bleed
The wheel of change is turning
For the ones who truly need
To see the walls come tumbling down" - Susan Aglukark - O Siem
14. "Wouldn't it be great, if no one ever got offended
Wouldn't it be great to say what's really on your mind
I have always said "all the rules are made for bending"
And if I let my hair down, would that be such a crime?
" Great Big Sea - Consequence Free
15. "If you were the woman and I was the man
would I send you yellow roses
would I dare to kiss your hand?
In the morning would I caress you
as the wind caresses the sand,
if you were the woman and I was the man?" - Cowboy Junkies - If You Were The Woman and I was the Man
Rules:
- Any style, length or form except haiku.
- Spelling matters
- PW's allowed, even encouraged...give me something that is polished and edited.
- I need to know which prompt you select, so either put it in your AN or message me with it.
Judging based on my personal preferences, and the impact your writing had on me while reading it. Therefore, strict adherence to form and structure won't necessarily win over something that moves me in some way.
I will read all entries once, and then again when the contest closes. I will not comment until after the second read, ensuring that I read each piece at least twice. I promise to comment on all entries.

Requirement?
You didn't list as a requirement that we include in AN which prompt. I think mine will be fairly obvious, and don't like being required to change my AN's. So, if it's not obvious, may I post it here or in a PM to you?
Tnx.

Feel free to message me with it. I am adding it as a requisite, that you either put it in AN or message me.
Thanks,
Rory
