an emotion keeps rising to my throat
Take a few moments to reflect on what you've been feeling. This can be something explicit- such as pain or love- or more subtle, such as desperation, stress, fear, or boredom. Whatever it is, give yourself time to sort through those feelings and understand them before hurdling yourself into an emotional piece.
EXPECTATIONS
1. You may enter any style and any length, but keep our attention.
2. If you did not enter round 1, enter this round or you will be dropped. If you did enter round 1, you don't have to enter.
3. Don't edit between judges' scores, we want to read the same piece.
IMPROVEMENT TIP
The best writing is fluid with movement. Don't let your piece stagnate on description.

A column will be posted with everyone's scores.
Points will go toward your cumulative point total.
