Our t-shirt design hasn't been updated for quite some time - it's time to get some new ideas in there!
We'll probably be printing more than one type of shirt this time, and going with an on-demand system. This means prices will be higher, though we'll make far less money. But the selection is worth it.

If you are a free member and can't post images, just include a link to the image at imageshack or something.
Requirements:
- Must be willing to send me the orig art file. Ideally in illustrator or a photoshop file, but I can probably re-make a design if the 'bones' are good.
- Must give us the rights to use the design in exchange for a 3 month gold membership. EACH person who's design is chosen to be printed will win a 3 month gold membership.
- Keep it simple. Only a 'box' will be printable, so needs to have clean edges.
- One size only, or front and back.
Ideas:
- clever sayings, like "shakespeare hates your emo poetry"
- How to integrate AP into it? Perhaps its not even necessary, just make it obviously about poetry...
- Integration of a raven is cool, sometimes. Or anything else that screams poetry to you. The branches of a tree?
- Quotes from famous poems that people might recognize?

So much creativity, great work!
I'm very picky but found quite a few with elements that I'd like to work with to try and make some final shirt designs. If you're one of the finalists, could you please email me a high or full resolution copy of the file you submitted. Ideally in photoshop or illustrator format, but whatever you have. Please also let me know your sources.
It's my hope that our next set of t-shirts will be "on-demand", so there will be some flexibility in terms of style, shirt color, and a choice of several images.
Each design that ends up turned into a shirt will get a 3 month gold membership. I'm not sure how many that will be, but I have high hopes for all our finalists

Well, I tried to keep it simple. Though I may be DQ'd for using the AllPoetry Logo. But, I wasn't sure, so I gave it a go anyway.

umm...I would like to design a t-shirt..since I am an artist..but how can I do that...can i like do in the paint software and send it in the poem or what????

or draw it on paper, take a photo, and upload it to photobucket. Then include the link to the photo in your poem.

I think i'll make that shirt up myself to wear to local shows, just to annoy some of the scenesters and and "non-punk/hardcore" bands that occasionally get booked at them. -

btw i'm not emo. but dat wud be an insult to emo's on AP. so i hope all da emos will come up saying "emocious poetry! making shakeshere go crazy" -

Well ole Kevin there said it first, I just felt attracted to the statements sentiment, and I have a cruel addiction to making fun of the lameness of the emo subculture for trying to promote sorrow as a "trendy" thing that the whole world should know and understand that they feel, and doing a terrible fashion cross impersonation of fake goth meets immitation black metal.
(one day i'll run into a crowd of kids wearing a Cure shirt and an old 80's boombox blasting Mayhem with a bomb duct taped to it and BOOOOM!
