I realize you have a lot of entries for this contest, but if you need to choose of the three poems I submitted: "Surely One Day" got more popularity, "For Ingrid, who spoke freely" is dearest to my heart as a memorial poem, but "To my knees" relates most to your prompt as a work that describes always being there for someone but feeling restrained.
