I. Songs.

pick any of the songs, or pick a few, and use the music/lyrics/title of the song to inspire a poem.

II. Titles.

use for inspiration.

III. Words.

use for inspiration.
[words can be used in your poem.]

abandoned.
betrayed.
cliche.
desperate.
done.
eminent.
inconsistent.
kissed.
relief.
slave.
transfixed.
unconventional.


IV. Themes.

use as the "them" of your poem.

abuse.
[physical & mental.]
death.
destruction.
rape.
self-harm/self-mutilation.
vampires.
werewolves.


V. Characterization.

reserve a spot asking for a name[boy or girl]. then write a poem using the name(s).


VI. Letters.

write a letter to anyone: me, a crush, a friend, an enemy.
[start with "dear _____".]
[end it however you want (sincerely, love, from, etc.) with your first name.]
