'Entire of Me'-Amazing Poetry Prompts

Each of the prompts is a title to a piece of work from one of my favorite writers who uses the penname of Fegger. You can use either the title, or the poem/song associated with the title, as your inspiration. Since these are titles to someone else’s work, you CANNOT use these titles for your title and CANNOT use these words in your poetry. They are for inspiration only. I want to read YOUR words. I’ve already read his.

I encourage you to visit these links to read some astounding word craft, or listen to the fine music and voice on prompt #7. I have also provided the link to his full profile page where all his writings and music can be found. Even if you don’t enter the contest, it would be worth your time to view these masterpieces.

Rules: Very few.
Put the # and title of the prompt you choose in your AN.
Rhyme, free verse, whatever your muse dictates. Prewrites are allowed as long as I can see the connection between the prompt you chose and the piece you submit.

If you read the poetry in the links you will see that I'm used to reading top notch use of language that draws out deep feelings so take your time and provide me with some well written writes that will capture my heart.

    Great entries so far

    I was hoping to draw in some of the finer poets and get some powerful reads by providing these prompts. So far I have not been disappointed. Some amazing entries. Keep them coming!

    This is going to be difficult to judge. I believe I will need the help of Fegger himself to make the final decisions. Please do read his work, and if so inclined, leave him comments.

    Sorry the judging is taking awhile. Had to leave town for 3 days for a family funeral. I'll select our winners in a day or two. Thanks for your great entries. The final decisions are going to be very difficult with such great writes. -Katie Marie
