So we can reserve and work on it from now until a month, right? End of September? And then you take another week to judge?
~Noor -
-
Yes, the site contests always stay opened for around a month allowing plenty of time for people to write. The judging time might vary. We could finish a couple of days before, it all depends on how many people enter
-
-
A month is more than enough I guess, thanks.

You're welcome! I'll be sending out a note via the groups contest notes two-three days before we start judging it.
-
-
-
-
Darn! I may have exhausted my thoughts for two seasons already in prewrites. I guess a little thinking is in order.
-
-
I hope that you are able to come up with something!
-
-
3. Write about the season that is starting.
Is it OK to write about the fact I don't like it ? -
-
Yes, that's fine
-
-
Thanks
-
-
-
I actually have two poems already written that are an exact fit to this contest!!! lol. I know I can't enter them, and that's okay, but I would love for you all to read them and enjoy them if you ever get the chance... Winter Returns, and Fall of the Unicorn, Rise of the Phoenix.
But I will come up with something new for this contest! -
-
I look forward to reading what you write!!
-

In the contest notes:
"...You can reserve but please know that this contest will be closed at the end of September allowing you three-four weeks to finish it. It takes us around a week or so with judging. If your poem is not finished by the time we start judging, it will be removed..."
then one day ago in response to Hikari Lady you state:
"Yes, the site contests always stay opened for around a month allowing plenty of time for people to write. The judging time might vary. We could finish a couple of days before, it all depends on how many people enter"
Tonight I see the contest has closed for judging... wondering about this, as, there are several who've not had a chance to complete their reserve?
Please clarify?
Thank you, dear. -
-
Hi,
Yes. We had it so only 34 people would enter. Usually whenever a contest fills up, it is marked for judging. We didn't know that a lot of people would enter so we are going to reopen to 55. Once it fills in again at 55 it will be closed for judging and people will have time to work on their poems.
I Hope that helps
-
-
I suspected, but wanted to be certain... yes it does help...
Thank you, Kari

Ok, Great! In a hurry, I accidentally said some of those numbers wrong!
But I've reedited my statement to make even more since lol
-
-
-
-
okay.... I have written my poem... but it still only shows that I have reserved a place. How do I fix that?
-
-
Normally it fixes itself
-
-
Thank you for giving us the time to finish our poems!
My writers block cleared up enough to let me finish it. I have changed the name from Winter to Winters Beauty. Thank you
-
-
You're welcome! Judging will be starting tonight and we should have it judged by the 30th. Looking forward to reading yours!
I've not read any yet because I always wait until this time

Thank you for hosting an inspiring contest. Congratulations, one and all. Be well, Poets and Scribes.
