Surrender To My Madness (Round One)

Alright Ladies and Gents!
This is...obviously...a rounds contest!

For the first round I would like dark poetry, which will be the main focus of this rounds contest because frankly it is my favorite.

Now... I will be trying something different with this.

First of prewrites are of course allowed in this round but fresh writes are welcome too. You can be inspired by anything for this first round, even the title of the contest.

Here is how the points for this contest will work:
For every entry into the contest more points will be added to each trophy place.
5 points to the gold for every five entries
3 points to the silver for every five entries
1 point to the bronze for every five entries

If all spots are filled the totals will be as follows:
Gold: 400
Silver: 260
Bronze: 120

Rules:
No dirty pretty
No MoLEstinG ThE SHIft kEY (ew)
No Prose (sorry, I like it but the length can get out of hand)
Give me imagery
Remember "DARK" poetry (thank you)

Now I wish all of you luck in this first contest. Only fifty entries will be moving on so make your write count. Make it good.

Any points donations are welcome so I can add more to the trophies and host more than just a few rounds.

I will exstend the date for closing or delete this contest if I feel it isn't going anywhere.

    Congradulations to the winners of this round of my contest. And also to those in the finalists' list. All of those in said list have made it to the second round.

    Everyone who entered did a fantastic job. The poems spoke out, each in their own way. But I could only choose so many to continue on to the next rounds. If I could, I would give you each a prize. You all deserve it.
