Greetings everyone.
Thank you for checking out my contest, feel free to enter if you'd like and just have fun with it.
This is the second Give Me Rhyme contest, that's why the 2 is there. It's separate from the first one and it's not rounds or anything. Just wanted to make that clear to avoid confusion.
Now to begin, in the first contest I only awarded Gold and one Honorable, and prewrites were allowed. This time I will be awarding Gold, Silver, Bronze, and one Honorable, and prewrites are not allowed. The point values aren't very high but hey, it's about the poems not the points, right?
Here are the rules:
- Rhyme only. (Any rhyming style is fine)
- No prewrites.
- Any subject/topic is fine.
- One entry per person.
- You can reserve if you want to.
- You can include images if you want to, just try to list it's source.
- Shouldn't even have to say this, but no sticky caps, it's just annoying...
- I'm looking for actual poems too, not just a page with words that rhyme.
I will actually read and comment on all entries. I will also judge fairly.
Have fun.
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 13
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: Sorry that it took longer to judge than I expected. I want to thank everyone who entered. There were a lot of good poems but I could only choose four. Hope to see you back for Give Me Rhyme or Give Me Death 3. Peace.

what do u like to read best... light, nature, dark... etc?? x

Personally I like dark poetry the best, but I enjoy reading all kinds. I will be judging on several different aspects so feel free to write whatever kind you like, as long as it's using rhyme. So basically everyone will be judged equally no matter what the category or subject of the poem is.

I just entered a poem called "Jesus heals the broken heart" into your contest here but it is not showing up as being in your contest. When i look on my page it shows underneath that poem along with 7 other entries as being in your contest. Then when i look up your contest there are only three entries there. There must be something wrong with the system. I just don't know why that happened.

I'm not sure what went wrong but it's showing up fine for me. I'll keep an eye on it in case something happens, but if anything does happen it's not my fault, it's the site.

I had the same problem, seems to be OK now.

May we reserve a spot?

Yes, you may reserve. I forgot to mention that in the rules, thank you for reminding me.

I have entered a poem called ''The Profile Of War'', but it's not showing up. Below my poem it say there are 13 entries, but on your contest page it tells me there are only 9, do you know why that is?

Kill that last comment, I see it is there now.

Congratulations to all the winners.
