I just recently started a group called Macabre Madness that specializes in particularly good dark poetry, or so I believe. Anyway, I'm still looking for members for our grotesque grotto, and I'm opening this contest in search of good dark poetry and dark poets. Of course you don't have to join my group if you enter, I'm just trying to weed out those macabre writers I haven't found yet.
Now, on to the contest.
I want dark macabre poetry. I want beautiful imagery and vivid emotion. I don't care your topic, but please refrain from submitting "emo" or cliche. You CAN write about suicide without being emo.
