Iv never done a competition before so bare with me please
Okay so Iv read a lot of sad poems, a lot of love poems and although they're all great Iv decided that I really want to read something different.
So heres what im looking for; something a little weird, maybe a bit of sarcasm, something thats smart and funny. You can pick one of these ideas or use all of them, but mainly I just want to read something different and unusual.
Ok,so rules:
No RapINg Of THe CApS keY - seriously its annoying
Eroticas fine, although im not sure how anyone could get it into this competition
Id prefer to not have rhyme unless your really good at it
Prose is fine by me
No more than one poem
Pre-writes are accepted if they fit the bill
And I promise I will comment all poems, although I cant promise straight away

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 12
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100
- Final notes: Gold: Precisely what I asked for wrapped in a well written package.
Silver: A really fantastic strange piece that stuck in my mind for days
Bronze: A wierd poem with great imagery and a talented author.
Honourable mention: A short and quirky piece that I really enjoyed.
I found it very truthful and tough at the same time
Everyone else, I wish I could have given out more but my points wont allow it, everyone did an amazing job, Im glad I got to read all of these poems
