Write in any genre on the title "Allegro Vivace" but do not use the title as YOUR own title. Good poetry is desirable, indeed.
About 20 to 30 lines. Punctuation and spelling are very important.
I reserve the right to not publish even the Gold if it does not suit as lead poem of a theme. ![]()
Do not reserve places, please.
Gold winner will need to join the group "On Viewless Wings Anthology" or OVWA if not already a member. You will be also encouraged to join Winklings if not already a member. The poems here must not have won "Gold" elsewhere.
In return, you will have your poem published in an attractive book at my expense, "On Viewless Wings, 2010 Edition". Your poem will be the LEAD POEM for the theme, "Allegro Vivace".
I shall not have time to comment in these OVWA sequence of contests so therefore I encourage you to comment on each other's poems, to a degree.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on August 21
- Rewards: Gold: 800, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Congratulations to at least 2/3 of the entries which were very enjoyable. I am used to giving a single number out of 20 to each poem working on the model that 16 and above is at least worth an Honorable Mention. Then, I sort things out upwards until I have the trophy winners. And, yes, the Gold Trophy Winner goes into the winter edition, 2010, of "On Viewless Wings". It will give the name to theme one.
That poem is "To Memories: A Toast". Congratulations.
Silver is awarded to the sonnet "He Who Pays the Piper. " Fine sonnet.
Bronze is awarded to "A Sip of Spring", an equally fine sonnet.
Honorable Mentions are, in order,
" Dance of the Seven Veils"; "Driving Down Love's Highway" and "seraphim".
Elegant poems all!
Thank you, too, to those who just missed the boat, so to speak, as three scored 15/20. Fine work.
Lyndon of the Winklings.

Thank you, dear Host ...
for the gold in this contest. May words writ in dirt may become light of bright in timelessness.
Congratulations, too, Di and Amera, and all who entered. Participation is a wondrous reward in itself.
Love to you all.
