I'm having a baby girl this November, and I thought I'd host a contest and get poems to put in her baby book. I've seen a couple people do this type of contest before and I thought I'd like to try...so, here goes...
OPTION 1
tell me where babies come from
OPTION 2
Inspire me! write me a poem about how amazing babies are and all the joys about being a new parent
OPTION 3
write me a poem about the innocence of children
OPTION 4
tell me a funny story about something you remember as a child or something your child(ren) have done
RULES
keep everything squeaky clean! (no swearing, erotica, things of that nature)
no line limit, but I have a short attention span, so if your poem is long, make sure it's really good!
I like rhyme, but if you're not good at it, don't sweat! just make sure there's a nice flow to your poem
tell me which option you chose in your AN
I would like for everyone to leave their real name in your AN so I can give you credit for your poem in the baby book. It can be your full name (Alicia Lynn Sanders) or an abbreviated form (A. Sanders). If for some reason you are uncomfortable leaving your real name, just type "Anonymous" in your AN.
Pre-writes ARE allowed, but I prefer new poems...
If you have any questions or comments, just let me know...
good luck everyone!
