Update: Just got my results & got 2 Cs! Although I hoped for a B, I expected a D in one of them, so it evened itself out.
In the spirit of C's, I am now opening up to 25 per person - that's right, so tell your friends & enter more of your own!!!
Next year ::
Psychology
Sociology
English Literature
Mega stress, but it's worth it, in my opinion.
Love you all xx
Okay, this contest is for anything. I am letting you enter 10 poems each.
I would like 1 fresh at least from everyone, but not mandatory.
If you do though and it's a tie between a freshie or prewrite, then the freshie will win.
I prefer::
-Love
-Dark, about murder, sadness, loss or hate
-Spiritual - finding god, finding spiritual enlightenment, not having a god but some other belief
- Nature - the beautiful things that the world brings us
Anything.
No more than 200 lines.
No less than 5 lines.
So, basically, anything.
10 entries per person.
Tell your friends.
Open for 3 months -
Or when I get 3000+ entries,
whichever comes first.
I will TRY (listen to that word) to comment on each entry. I will AT LEAST comment on 1/3rd, that's the very least.
Anyone, anything.
Good luck all. xxx
If I don't get 3000 by the end of 3 months, I'll delete.
If I don't find at least 8 entries worthy, I will delte the contest.
I know these two are reachable, as you guys are wonderful.
I MAY ALLOW 20 IF THE RIGHT NUMBER DONT ENTER, SO LOOK OUT LATER. I AM BRAVE HERE.
MY COMMENT MAY BE SHORT, AS IN 30-50 WORDS, DONT TAKE OFFENSE. I DID READ YOUR POEM I JUST HAVE A DEAD ARM AFTER READING EVERYONE ELSES POEMS.
Thank you.
Tell your friends.
Love you all. xxx

Hang on a minute here.. why would you want 3000 entries if you can only give away 3 shiny ones? I dont get it
-

x -
you have a death wish, dearie? xD
-
WOW! Look at all these entries
-
this contest is suicide...
good luck with it though. -
Ok.....there you go
GAVE YOU 25 poems to read......if they don't go in to the Finalists list, LET ME KNOW in the Comment so I can't take the poem out of the contest. ALSO.....I will be willing to bet dollars to donuts NO ONE entered a collection anywhere near as fine as mine. Thanks for the fun contest. -
I have a question:
I believe the contest host/judge may have jumped the gun on their judging responsiblities (fair/honest?) since a poem is already listed as a preliminary finalist, before "Live With Your Hearts (Sonnet)" was even viewed by the contest judge, it is already listed as #1... None of the other entires have been viewed at this point, either... Hmmm... makes me wonder. -
-
In response to your "question" above...
To clarify things here:
There are only 2 ways to add a poem to the preliminary finalist list.
1) Click on the poem page to view it and then clicking on the button on the page to add it to the finialist list.
2) The host can click on the quick comments link to view the entries on one page and comment if they wish. They can also click on a link there to add the poem to the preliminary finialist list.
Either way the poem would be "viewed" by the host. There is NO way around that. You cannot add it to the list if it was not viewed.
Given that...This is absolutely a site glitch and site administration will inform the site owner to have a look into it. He's recently done some site updates and with that often comes a few glitches that need looking into.
I'm sure the contest host has every intention of judging the contest in fairness to all the contestants but it will take some time given the amount of entries.
They do actually have 21 days from today's date (the date it closed) to judge this contest so please do be patient and allow them the time for due process
Good luck to you and all the contestants.
