Your Choices ~
1. Write a poem about death, and how you released your feelings when someone died.
2. Write a poem about death, and how you miss someone.
3. Write a poem about death, and how you wish you felt alive but don't.
No line limit but please don't put me to sleep.
rules -
1. plain backgrounds
2. NO RELIGION - NO PRAYERS - NO HEAVEN - NO HELL - Keep it simple please
You CAN talk about heaven/hell if you do a sonnet or special form, but don't make it the focus of your poem.
3. Any form, or any kind of poetry is welcomed except erotica. If you talk about cutting please keep it positive, and not depressing. I don't want to promote cutting in any negative way. Sonnets, abstract, and Metaphors are encouraged. If you do use a form, say so in your notes.
4. Profanity is fine, but please limit how much you use.
5. You have around a week or so. Feel free to reserve but know that I'll be judging this by sometime in the beginning of August.
6. Prizes may, or may not increase.
7. I always review, and comment on the poem right before I judge the contest.
8. Please put what option you picked in your notes.
9. No prewrites are allowed.
10. Label your poems accordingly please.
This will be judged around the second week in August allowing plenty of time for the ones that have reserved to finish.
The winner can do whatever they want with the points.
Looking forward to reading your poems.
