Hey guys I'm going all out, literally I mean to run this contest. I have only five thirteen points but I don't care cause I know it's going to be worth it. When we have contests here, especially the round contests or best poet of the year we never include the children!! I think that's pretty unfair and selfish of us. So I decided to start a contest for kids between 4 to 15yrs old ONLY!! I think that's fair don't you?? The kids should also get a chance to be called the best young poet of 2009. So this contest has 5 different rounds, each with a different theme. It's going to take some time between rounds and a whole lot of patients but it's worth it I know for sure!!!
So In this round, lets call it the begging all you kids can enter your best pre-written poems. If you enter a new write that's a bonus and a better chance of heading to the next round. I want to see amazing poems about something and absolutely nothing at all as long as it's your best piece.Once this round is over, three fourth of you will move to the next round, half to the fourth and quarter to the final round. Please comment on other people's work cause that's a nice thing to do. Good luck I can't wait to see what you guys have!!

- Final notes: It gives me great honor to say this contest was over. I didn't expect so many pieces to be entered and I f it wasn't ending I guess more would come. It was my greatest pleasure judging this contest for there are such fabulous entries. All the entries were just brilliant, who ever knew that the young poets of allpoetry were so brilliant at what they did. If I could all of you would go to the next round, however the numbers have to decrease with each round. I have put a lot of though into the judging and finally announced the winners.
