We all know that familliar breakup chestnut its not you its me what i would like from you is summations of breakups you have had in the past, be they humorous
pathetic hopeful WHATEVER......

The worst of excuses you have been given for the breakup if you like....

BUT....

If you enter one pre-write then I want a NEW poem as well to portray how much you have learned from the breakup and or how you would do it now if it was you or how you would prefer it done to you......

    I used the whole...it's not you, it's me line...lol...tho I had to lie and I told him I was a lesbian but what goes around comes around, because the next guy I dated said he was bi-sexual so that I would break up with him..it worked...oh lord. the lies!!!!

      Not really.
      Honestly, I don't get what's so wrong about dating someone who's bisexual. One of my best guy friends has had the hardest time getting a girlfriend since he came out, because everyone's afraid he'll turn around and fuck some guy behind their back or something. But bisexuality does not necessarily mean promiscuity, so WTF?

        wow..you really got the wrong idea...Im not homophobic..my brother and my uncle are gay and I love them both very much. we used this as an excuse to break up...and we are friends and we both laugh about this till this day. my brother, uncle, and my friend all have a great sense of humor ...it's too bad you don't. I can't talk to people who are this up tight...me and my family and friends are very out going and joke and laugh...sorry if I offended. Laugh a little...ease up a bit. Life is too short.

      Um...Im not homophobic..see comment above. YIKES! I couldn't be homophobic since my brother and uncle are both gay and I love them very much. This guy should have been honest with me and up front about something this important...and yes, I do think it's an important thing to be honest about. but me and him are both good friends till this day.

    having gay relations etc does not mean you do not have any homophobic thoughts, even if they are contradictory to your actions. your words however say "i lied and told him i was a lesbian" dont use an opressed minority group to refuse a come on. if you think the guy is a sleeze and ur trying to get him to pee off, be confident and tell him hes a sleeze. the way what you said re: bisexuality came across as pretty homophobic. even if you arent homophobic, you said some things which sounded that way.
