This contest is for poems inspired by any work of Shakespeare you wish. This does not mean at all that you have to write in iambic pentameter, I just want emotional reactions to characters or events. I am not a big fan of Romeo and Juliet. If you write a Romeo and Juliet poem, it's gotta be extra awesome. (I love Hamlet, though. XD)
I'm very excited to see the entries, and good luck!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 9
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Thank you all so much for your entries. It was so difficult, so please do not be offended if you didn't get anything. I had to add honerable mentions because the quality of work was so great. The gold, silver, and bronze winners were all chosen because they had a specific inspiration and it was either stated or I could tell what it was. There were a lot of beautiful sonnets and forms that I wish I could have given awards to. Congratulations to everyone!
