It's been probably two years, if not more! Since I have held a contest. Since I am lately having trouble with my muse, (it comes and goes, it's not so consistant anymore.) I have decided to hold a contest! I want to be inspired. I want to feel emotion, feel what you are writing about.
Here are some title prompts:
1. Intesly Amorous
2. Fallen Tears
3. Broken Lullaby
4. Devoted Sins
5. Deep Disaster
6. Fallen Dreams
7. Forgotton Hope
8. Melodious Murder
9. Waving Goodbye
[It's actually kind of funny, I entered a contest for someone who wanted a new AP name, and most of the title prompts are the names I came up with, so it kind of dinged a bell in my head to see what interesting poetry could be written up off of these titles.]
What I really want you to write about is this:
- Being stabbed in the back
- A lie ruining everything you had
- A love turned horribly wrong
Or
- Getting inspired by something that made you feel better from being at the worst place you could be
- What makes you smile everyday
- What inspires you
Basically any sort of poem entry that falls somewhere into those catagories, and/or title prompt is fine with me. It would be even more amazing if you could use the title prompt and write about what I want to read!
Just make me feel.
3 Rules:
-Please use check spelling, i'm not a fan of tons of mistakes, though a few are alright, sometimes we just can't help it.
- No StIcKy CaPs please, it is kind of annoying to read
- Write what you wish, but please don't write a novel!
Notes:
-Language/ erotica/ whatever doesn't matter, I don't care.
-I like rhyme a lot
- I will read and comment every entry, if I like your piece, I may also read other works of yours as well. I love reading poetry, so I hope all of the entries are great!
