If you feel inspired by their work - what I would like you to do for this contest is choose a song and write whatever comes to mind. The poem doesn't have to rhyme and I do love metaphor so try to include lots of that if you can. I also like long poems though this is not a rule.

Also try to include as much emotion as you can.

I leave it up to you now. I hope this is a very exciting contest.

    Thank you everyone who took part in the contest. The winning poem "The Drummer Missed my Beat" I found extremely artistic and inspiring as well as emotional and thats one of the reasons it is placed so in the contest. 1am was also amazing and in fact everyone's poems were incredibly artistic, thoughtful and imaginative.
