Ok So White Stone gave me this idea but along with my own too.
I have held one before and got so many breathtaking entries I want to do another.
Reserve a spot and the number you would like and I will give you one of the lines in one of my poems to use as inspiration.It must NOT be in the poem itself but MUST be placed in the author notes ok!!!!
No epics, remember I am not getting any younger unless someone finds me the fountain of youth. So up to 40 lines is elegant sufficiency.

1.the nature of the boxer is to fight on
2.we ruffled wind with our smiles,
3.distance is a color
4.now i can't see a year pass
without tears for the flowers
5.wind and freedom sends them
where fate bestows a pride
6.a strange immortality in cold spring,
7.glorious is my walk in dawn's shadow
8.the wildflower in the middle of a field
9.a thousand blood soaked moons
10.how small a hill it seems i climb
without a summit to see the future
11.how it melts like starlight on the docks
12.saw lakes born of a woman's touch
13.while you repent your sins
of telling vows and mortal lusting
14.in tangerine mornings you were something new,
15.weeds become brittle,
16.a want to grow in wildness, uncluttered soil
17.somedays it rained where the sun left holes
18.legs not atrophied
by the grimace of time.
19.storing your heart like widowed black threads.
20.and in soft soprano nights
21.the underside is silver, a velvet skin
22.blank page rests on weary knees
23.hold my hand against the tide
24.when wind turns up my collar
past the corner of today
