    A friend just told me about his death. I am still shocked. Despite all controversy about his life, I respected him very much as a musician. He was a great singer.

        I will try but I can't promise anything... Just yesterday, I found out that a distant relative of mine has died (He was just one year older than Michael Jackson)... Misfortunes never come singly, I guess....

    This is the most unreal news I've ever heard. Personally I don't know what to think except I'm sure this will be the biggest news topic since the death of Elvis Presley as well as President Kennedy, John Lennon, Princess Diana, and Martin Luther King. Thanks for creating this contest. I've started one too.

    I'm still crying and still very upset by his death.
    The world has lost a brilliant musician and mind. His music touched millions, if not billions, of people. He had such a kind heart. With songs such as "Man in the Mirror", "Earth Song" and "Black or White", he really affected the way that I now view the world.

    Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson, an amazing soul and talent, who can never be replaced or duplicated. Your music will live forever.

    I will try my best to rouse my rusty muse to give you a poem for this contest.
