- Final notes: This contest in honesty was the hardest I have yet to judge. Perhaps because these writes were to speak to me on a more personal level than poetry did, and for that, I thank you all. I have commented on each letter with a small letter of my own, some I am sorry if I bombarded you with my rambling but...I thank you immensely. Everyone was on the finalists list and I just wanted to say, they all deserved gold and I would have been honored to award all.
