Having been both a PO' judge and contestant, I'm glad to see the emergence of so many talented new faces, as well as the presence of our veteran writers. As always, a different mix of the two makes for many great entries!
Of course, those who received lower scores from me did so because, by the end, I was sick of listening to people whine about how critical comments are 'bad'. I have no tolerance for poor sportsmanship; if you're not willing to follow the rules, don't play the game. However, I judge poetry, not people, so without further ado, here are your scores:

The Contest
I am new to All Poetry and, as such, can look at this contest with fresh eyes, and no axe to grind. I am happy for anyone to make any comment they want, on anything I submit, contest or no contest. Clap on the back, slap on the wrist, smack on the face with a wet fish……I don't mind, although I do have personal preferences. I am obliged, however, to make the following comments.
Firstly, the atmosphere established by the conditions of the contest was aggressive, unhealthy and condescending.
Secondly, the threat of bans for arguing with the judges comments is entirely unreasonable. This censorship devalues everything the judges have to say and diminishes their hard work together with that of the entrants.
Thirdly, threatening to ban someone for withdrawing from the contest is just arrogance at work.
Fourthly, yes, a contest like this should be an ego free zone and that should include everyone involved.
Sorry to be so negative but that was my impression. Well done on all the hard work.

Gordon, get a grip. You are not the owner of these contests, nor do you have the premise to critique the so called atmosphere...to quote, if you can't handle the heat, get out the kitchen. Your comments were rude and uncalled for, and you may have insulted some kind people who's only trespass was to influence and improve those who WANT the contstructive. The labor of love put in by every judge is something that unless you do it yourself, you have no idea what it is like. I challenge you to try and understand this.
