PROMPT: - "caress honey hair to silver satin"
Springboard from the prompt and express.
I am looking for elegance in simplicity.
I am looking for intense emotion.
I am not looking for the obvious -
Off you go now. I am looking forward to some beautiful expressions. ~Pamela

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on July 7
- Rewards: Gold: 2000, Silver: 1000, Bronze: 500
- Final notes:
I asked for elegance, I asked for simplicity, I asked for something that was not obvious - YOU ALL gave me everything and made this one of the most difficult contests to judge.
I would first like to make special mention of a poem that moved me for content beyond the norm for its timely and pertinent content. If you have not read it I urge you to do so and take your time digesting the message that relates to anyone with a human heart.
freedom screams
Thank you dear poet for sharing this with us all.
Our top four winners took this contest prompt above and beyond with exceptionally well written poetry. I have again placed a finalist and though there will be no green trophies awarded, our finalist will receive extra points.
Without further ado, I bow to excellence placed before me for my reading pleasure. Thank you all so much.
Congratulations to our top four! Well done.
