It is quarter after twelve in the morning. My girlfriend is sleeping and I am up, racking my brain about poetry.
I want you to write, finding inspiration in this poem:
In Mind
There's in my mind a woman
of innocence, unadorned but
fair-featured and smelling of
apples or grass. She wears
a utopian smock or shift, her hair
is light brown and smooth, and she
is kind and very clean without
ostentation-
but she has
no imagination
And there's a
turbulent moon-ridden girl
or old woman, or both,
dressed in opals and rags, feathers
and torn taffeta,
who knows strange songs
but she is not kind.
-Denise Levertov

Find inspiration in the sentiment, not the form.
No sticky caps no erotica (adult content, totally fine...dime store smut, not so much) no weird formatting no no no no.....
You get it. Just don't write crap.
Sorry, no prewrites. Points to be added as I see fit.
PM me if you have any questions.

this is a beautiful poem i like it
-
These are manifestations of the Goddess who appears in three forms. The Virgin, The sexually active woman either mother or whore or both, and the Crone, the lady of death.

-
That is certainly one way of looking at it.
