Breakfast with Obama/Heaven on Earth

I am an activist who is BURNT OUT and DISCOURAGED...I need to recharge my batteries and am hoping you can do it for me! What problems keep you up at night? Poppy trafficking in Afghanistan? Turmoil in the Middle East? Darfur? Hunger, poverty, homelessness, death from preventable/treatable disease? Burma? Job loss or lack of health care for many in the U.S.? Abortion? Climate change? Or what? I like rhyme, but freewrite if done well is enjoyable too! You have two options below, PLEASE STATE option in a/n!!!!!!!! Also feel free to editorialize in a/n! But, please, I want to closely read and comment on each entry so being brief would be appreciated! Will look especially favorably in judging on originals, and would be less inclined to award trophy if your pre-written poem is already very well decorated. May add honorable mentions if getting lotsa good entries!

1) If you could have a one-on-one breakfast with U.S. President Obama, what problem would you ask him to tackle and how would you suggest he solve it? Will be judged on persuasiveness and proposed solution as well as eloquence in the poetry itself! You can also pretend the rest of the UN Security Council would go along with him if you convince him!

2) What problem have you as an individual worked to tackle and what have you done, or what can individuals do to tackle a major problem and make a difference...if we all joined together to tackle problems, we might create a taste of Heaven on Earth...inspire me to get going again!

No poems to inspire violence tolerated...

THANKS FOR CONSIDERING ENTERING! Please get me re-juiced!

I dreamt I sat with Obama and yes, we dined. Maybe I can put that dream into some type of poetic scene of sorts. LOL BOOKMARKED!

This is a very unusual contest. Glad to see it!

    Thanks ...

for the shiny trophy. I wish there had been more entries. I often find that to be a problem with my contests as well. It seems very few really care about fostering a better world.

Anyway, don't forget that I have several contests open at the moment. I hope to hear from you.
