This will be a rounds contest prompting a higher standard of writing in the poetic community hosted by Amaranthine Lover, innocence jaded.xx, eira, and I. Prewrites are open solely that we may be acquainted with one's writing and see where exactly you are in terms of poetic growth. New writes preferred. Here are the basic rubrics the prewrites must follow upon entry.
- freeverse
- left aligned
- monochromatic background with readable backgrounds
- no bullshit
- no sticky type
- be of considerable length
- follow grammar rules
- proofread and edit thoroughly
- do not overuse: adjectives and pronouns

There will be no warning if the above requirements are missing.
We reserve the right to remove/not comment/delete any entries

Most Awesome we are, my dear!
-
-
haha, i see you are you on your old account?
-
-
Why yes I was lol.
-
-
haha. i love the name though.
-
-
-
-
gahhh i'd love to enter but i already am in 390489 rounds contests. if you ever need an extra judge though, i'd love to help. ♥
-
-
sure then.
-
-
wonderful (:
-
-
Shaaahahaha!
-
-
are there any guidelines i should go by or any information i should know ?
-
-
not that I know of. between us three we need to make a 100-point rubric for the next round.
-
-
This is the rubric I use: I grade using a rubric of my own creation: 25/25 1. Must follow rules 100%: 5/5 2. originality/not cliché: 5/5 3. Grammar & all other English mistakes are fixed 5/5 4. abstraction draws me in/imagery is salivatory 5/5 5. Must keep my attention: 5/5
-
-
That's a great rubric to go by. Everything needed in a poem is fixated in it, so I don't see why that wouldn't work, unless we'd want to add something else. Also, I can donate points of any value under 10,000 if needed for this round and future rounds.
-
-
haha, me and Christina figured we'd donate 10,000 between us. we can raise it slightly for it to be even. so we each donate 4,ooo to the rounds in total.
-
-
Sounds good. Would you like me to donate it now or later?
-
-
later love. I'll contact you.
-
-
-
-
-
Then I also will do decimal points to be completely precise. I have spreadsheets so that I can lay all this out and then whomever has the highest out of 25 wins and so on. I find it the most fair and effective way of judging.
-
-
mmhm, i agree.
-
-
Then we'd just combine our results in the end and whomever really appears to win, that's the winner.
-
-
yes, I agree. We make a hell of a team.
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
-
Should I just give up or enter another..?
-
-
please try again.
-
-
Hm, not sure whether I should enter. =/ But if you ever want a super-brutal guest judge or anything, let me know.
-
-
mmhm. welcome aboard.
-
-
actually, i've decided to withdraw my entry cos i don't have the time for another rounds contest... but if you still want me as a judge, let me know cos that sounds a lot more fun
-
-
welcome aboard as a host, darling.
-
-
-
-
-
-
So ya didn't like it?
-
-
You were disrespectful to a judge, for whatever reason. And I will not tolerate it.
-
-
how did I miss this?
-
okay, I dont have the time to write you ladies a fresh write, I actually have plans this evening

Yes,
Can you believe it? Not with the man of my dreams, he lives in Ohio
Anyway, my submittal isn't in any contests-I wrote it for me.
That's about where I am in my writing.
Have fun ripping it to shreds, you have my blessing.
Love to you all,

oh mylanta. there are so many rounds contests. lol!
-
-
Yes, we decided we were going to put the mylanta in the hot dogs and herd the little ones to the arena to see who could hold their shit the longest...too much?
-
-
no! not at all!
haha that was so random. -
-
I know, I know. Since I read your comment, that is exactly what has been stuck in my head.
-
-
