I would like to see some poems inspired by the words of Robert Browning. You may use one of the following quotes as inspiration, or if you are so enclined, find a quote of his that speaks to you, just be sure to put the quote that you use in the Author's Notes.
Quotes:
"Ah, but man's reach shoud exceed his grasp. Or what is heaven for?"
"God is the perfect poet"
"Autumn wins you best by this its mute appeal to sympathy for its decay."
Requests:
1. Rhymed/metered poetry is preferred, but not mandatory so long as the free verse is well written.
2. If you use the words "thee" or "thou" please, for pity's sake, be sure that it fit the rest of the diction.
3. Unless you are using the German style please refrain from random/unnecessary capitalization; it is distracting.
4. No erotica or vulgar language.
5. Check your grammar.
