Below is a list of excuses. Some have been used (not all) for not entering the partner’s contest…Now I want you to put your “excuse” to good use (see how easy it is to make a rhyme) and tell us all about it…We all have bad days that sometimes last for weeks and we all need a sympathetic shoulder to cry on every once in a while so now is your chance…Let’s hear your best poetic story of why you haven’t written for a contest in a long while…

Pick out at least one of the listed excuses or if you have a really better one use it…write a poetic story telling us your plight..

For those who have continued to support the group…Let’s counteract those excuses with some sympathetic support…in a poetic story from you. Make them feel really good! Let them know we really care…sure we do!

You are allowed 3 poems total..no more no matter how hard you beg and I can't be bribed...
