How well do you know a person?

This contest is based on how well you know a person from their profile page.

Rules:

Read my profile page (it's very short) and some of my poems (not the ones for contests because they are written by the rules) and see if you know who I am and what kind of poetry I like.

After you think you know what I am looking for, give me your best poem or pre-write if it applies.

1. I won't tell you what style
2. There is no prompt
3. I am not going to limit the lines or tell you if I prefer long or short, that is for you to figure out
4. If one of my poems inspire you to think you know me, please put the name of the poem in you AN
5. Have fun!

  • I had to read the first few entries to get a taste of what I must be like to others. Very interesting. I can tell by the first 4 entries, this is going to be a hard contest to judge.

I will go back and read all of these again and make comments on each one as the contest progresses!

Good Luck to all those who have entered

Oh, my goodness! This could be a hard contest to enter. Personally, what I write is not necessarily what I like to read. I may give this one a shot. It is a very interesting and intriguing idea for a contest.

Great contest concept. I know by my old page, many people thought I was a player due to the fact I had over twenty wives (and still counting). However, the many who are my wives know better (but one or two of them may think the other-lol). I'm just a big Bare (bear) with alot of heart. Good luck to you as hostess and to all who enterTed E

  • Thank you for the bronze. Congrats to the other winners.

All three of your top selections are on my Favorite's List. Congratulations to them. I have yet to fully know myself, that would make such a contest a complicated one for me. LOL I am glad you found entries that depicted you as you reflect on who you are and aspire to become. Great idea for a contest. I think I may just hold one like this soon so that I can unearth who I AM!

    Much Love & Respect ♥

      Thank You

Thank you so much for saying this. I was not sure who I voted for since it was anonamous, but I felt they hit the nail on the head. All the entries were very good. I love hosting contests and reading all the wonderful poems. Someone commented on one of the poems and said they thought I was just trolling for reads. That is so far from the truth. I only wanted to be creative in my contest and thought this would be a good way to do that. I had fun judging and reading all the entries, but unfortunately we can only choose 1 winner for each trophy. I would like to have given all the entries a trophy.

Let me know when you hold a contest like this and I will give it my best shot!

Sounds like the person who said you were "trolling for comments' was trolling for attention. They didn't get it, now did they. LOL

Sometimes it is best to ignore ignorance.

I will surely let you know when I post a similar contest.

        Much Love ♥

        Renee

P.S You will grow a thicker skin for sure posting on this site. LOL
