Many of our members have been absent because of illness or away or lost their Muse, there are many reasons why members haven't entered lately, so how about telling us about them.
Your entry may be humorous or serious but no obscenities please.

2. Rhyming poems are appreciated.
3. Only 0NE entry per participant.
4. All entrants need to vote for their choice for first, second and third place only (stating names of chosen authors) within 48 hours after contest closes. Please note: Contest will close on June 22nd. for voting. Please send your vote by IM (Message) to huguenauties, not to me or King Hugh.
5. Officials may enter but cannot win. Their entries (only) will include "NON-ENTRY" in the title and are not included in the voting.
6. This contest is NOT anonymous. Please sign your name at the end of each entry.
7. Please include an appropriate picture with your entry.(Silver and Gold members)
Winner of the GOLD trophy must refund 300 points to huguenauties for future contests.
There will be three Honourable Mentions.

Bravo! I like the challenge which either of these options provides.
I'll start working on a non-entry for option #2 and Heathcote should have some sort of statement for option #1. Illness? On vacation? Too busy? Couldn't be bothered? Muse deserted him? Topic not inspiring enough? Hinemoa too demanding? There are 101 possibilities there.
Well done. Everyone should be able to contribute to this one.

Thanks Hugh, that's what I thought, I know we've had many of our members ill or away, I remember my own illness that kept me away from the PC for awhile, so it will be interesting to find out.

Dear Jen, I choose option one. I have had one personal crisis after another, and I'm moving in five weeks from Ukraine to Egypt, via Canada. Yesterday our nephew died in a work accident. Please excuse and forgive me.

I know a lot of our members have been and are ill, some have moved away to other places, maybe been away on holidays, traveled to exotic places, or haven't liked some of the topics and get scared to attempt to write something, or your Muse has run off, like mine, but I got her a male Muse to entice her back he he, he sure is a looker

I was too sick from chemo to enter this one.......was in bed running a fever for 2 days...but i am bouncing back now.........hopefully will be able to get in the next contest.............i haven't missed that many of our contest that the group has held and even wrote one when i was sick and wrote the sonnet one and was sick only to find it was closed........

I haven't been feeling well at all and was holding a contest for my Maureen who you all know...and that her sister passed away...so between not feeling good and holding the contest was just a tad bit busy to enter this contest.............I have made all the contest except a couple so with what all I go through I am even glad I can make it then
