So, I had a whole contest set up in my drafts for when I got more points, and then I won like 3 big points contests and now have more than 1000 points, so I decided to do a rounds contest.
I'm not sure how many rounds there will be, but this is round 1/auditions.
BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING ELSE, READ THE RULES. READ THEM, THEY'RE THERE FOR A REASON.
NO RHYME.
NO RHYME.
NO RHYME.
I hate deleting poems because of rhyme, so let me repeat:
NO RHYME.
NO RHYME.
NO RHYME.
Long pieces would be nice. Imagery is a must. And just be awesome. Prose/freeverse is best.
And again, imagery is a must.
The challenge is to enter your best prewrite. It has to be good.
Every time I get points throughout this contest, I'm adding them. So beware of winning more.
Hehe.
I added a lot of points, especially for gold, because that will just motivate you to be amazing. So enterenterenter!
The next round will be a prompt contest, of either words, phrases, quotes, or titles, etc.
The round after that will be the same, only different prompts, and if round 1 is title prompts, the next will be word prompts, or phrases, and so on. I am so bad at explaining stuff like that. But you get it, right?
This should be fun! Big points at stake here, so give me your absolute best!
Not adding preliminary finalists till the contest is over, so enterenterenter!
15 people to next round.
-Any form
-No rhyme
-Any length
-Maximum of 4 trophies already won - Come on, if you won a ton of trophies with one piece, move on to another!
NOTE- to let me know you read the rules, put this in your AN: "purple pizza painted a poisonous pickle."
mmkay?
Brownie Points:
-Prose
-Long
-or Medium
-Incredible.
-Amazing.
-Indescribably Fantastic.
-Metaphors,
-Similes,
-Comparisons,
-Imagery
(actually, imagery is a rule, not just brownie points.)
OOOH, almost forgot: If you don't get HM, or Gold, Silver, or Bronze, you still move on, because there are 15 to the next round.
*Thanks to everyone who donated points for this contest, and the next rounds of this contest! I really appreciate it.
ready,
set,
go.
(love, luc.)
