- Final notes: Choices are difficult to make when every 'choice' seems to be the perfect one. You all entered extremely well written poetry - but more than that, each entry had it's own 'feeling' and believe me, I felt each one to the bone. Ahhh me.
In a fit of unsettled depression one night I deleted all my poems here. They no longer exist. So, I accept and live with the pain of knowing I could have been great, but I didn't believe.
Maybe another time, my Lady, another time. -
i'd enter this contest, but the only bit of gold I ever got from you was that gold-plated bit of advice about cleaning my socks twice a week by beating them on the rocks, and then 6 months of complete silence to figure out how to come to grips with a new cleaning technique.
have fun with this one, Judge Lane - i'm sure everyone else is giddier than a Hershey girl with gold-tinted braces and a breeze up their skirts... There's a couple of good ones already posted. -
