Hi Everyone!
Mother's day is coming up and so is Father's day. Here is what we would like for you to do -
This month's contest is to write about someone who has made a positive influence in your life.
It can be someone in your family,your parents, someone online, or just a special friend you know.
The other choice is to write about how you would like to be a positive influence for someone.
Rules -
1. There is no line limit but please don't write a novel.
2. Feel free to reserve but make sure it's finished within a few days. I'll send out a note a couple of days before I judge it.
3. In your author notes please write what option you picked. If you pick the first one please tell us in your notes who has made the positive influence and if it's a dedication for someone on AP we'd love to see a link to their page!
4. No profanity or bashing is allowed.
5. Plain backgrounds please.
6. Please keep everything G rated - no cutting, or erotica poems please.
7. Any form is fine.
Prizes -
1. Winner wins one month of gold membership plus 500 points.
2. Silver wins 400 points.
3. Bronze wins 300 points.
The top three winners will be nominated for spotlight on the front page.
We may or may not have honorable mentions.
All ages are encouraged to enter.

Isn't it interesting that these special days fall so differently around the world? I know I sound controversial here but I look forward to a day when we are united as a whole, celebrating days globally, heck just celebrating each other globally. World peace and unity just always pulls at my soul.....I know it won't be in my life time but I can still hope. Thanks for this interesting note, I feel the urge to google this date and others to see when the fall around the world!
