Darkness and Light

Ok so here we go. I am a believer in balance. All things have it. In every life there is good and bad, ying and yang, darkness and light.
I want to see some poems that show this concept. You are free to write it anyway you want. As long as it is your work and shows this balance I am happy. Pre-writes are ok but only if they fit the contest.
Here is a big thing for me. No erotica and no bad grammar. If you are going to curse it better be in a way that it fits. Don't get stuck to one side of the divide in this. If you are overly bright or too dark then you wont win. I want to see balance.
